Students in Mrs. Aldrich’s classroom recently visited the Floriculture Department at Bristol Aggie to learn about herbs and gardening. As an extension of their Life Science unit, students had the opportunity to plant their own herb gardens while exploring the importance of plants in our everyday lives. Thank you to the students and staff for warmly welcoming our class and providing such an engaging, hands-on learning experience. We appreciate the opportunity to learn and grow together!

What a fantastic Kindergarten Fun Day at Macomber School! ☀️💕🏃‍♀️
Our little learners spent the morning enjoying movement, music, teamwork, bubbles, and games galore out in the fields! The students worked so hard learning each station, showed amazing sportsmanship, and cheered one another on every step of the way.
A huge thank you to the wonderful Mac teachers, TAs and middle/high school volunteers for helping make the day so special. Your kindness, energy, and support meant so much to our students! 👏

Today the Portuguese Language classes celebrated Dia de Portugal in the best way possible—through delicious food, sweet desserts, traditional drinks, and the beautiful sounds of Portuguese music.

Westport Middle High School was present at The Feel Good Fair on Saturday, June 6th, 2026,
held at UMASS Dartmouth. The focus of the fair was to recognize and promote mental health
awareness and resources supporting the surrounding communities. This year, Westport staff
and students rolled out Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer su***de prevention and wellness program.
The goal of the school-based program is to collaborate with community partners to increase
mental health knowledge, learn signs of struggle in themselves and others, acquire ways to
seek help when needed and to increase kindness, and promote inclusion and connection within
the school community. Along with community partner, Ms Donna Amaral from the Westport
Board of Health, the school was present alongside its partner and sponsor, The Tyler Joseph
Leonard Memorial Foundation
