Ocosta School District Counseling Mission Statement

The mission of the Ocosta School District Counseling team is to provide an ASCA based comprehensive program, which is grounded in research and data driven. We strive to provide an environment where students can grow competently in the areas of: academic, social/emotional, and college/career readiness. We will provide a safe and nurturing environment that supports students’ individual needs and offer opportunities to identify their interests/abilities, self-expression, and gain decision-making and conflict-resolution skills. We as a team, faculty, parents/guardians and community are dedicated to the students’ holistic development, understanding and growth as productive, responsible lifelong learners in a diverse and changing world.
