Gloucester City alarm system response dispatched for the activation of the system. Battalion 5 was advised, calls for smoke in the building. He confirmed the report and Taskforce 5 was upgraded. Fire was extinguished by Squad 5. Assignment was held with Ladder 736 for ventilation.

Station 7-3 dispatched for the fire alarm system for buildings A,B and C. .9-1-1 received calls of smoke in the building, Upgraded to Taskforce 7. Engine 733 on scene with the building evacuated with an audible sounding.

Companies located smoke coming from an apartment in C building that was due to careless cooking with a smoke condition throughout buildings C and B. The ladders trucks went into service with ventilation.

One person was treated for a minor injury. Westville Fire Marshal Office is handling the investigation.

Companies operated in the early morning hours at a 3 story duplex dwelling. Fire on the 3rd floor. Westville Engine 733 operated 2 hand-lines supplied by Gloucester City Squad 51. The Ladder Companies ventilated and National Park Engine 812 dropped a second water source to Summit Ave for Ladder 736.

Deptford Tower 926 was special call for salvage operations on the lower floors.

Wenonah and Woodbury Heights Fire Departments responded, assigned to the RIT Group and established the RIT Group Supervisor,Accountability and Safety. The companies took positions for fire ground observation for firefighter safety.

No injuries reported.

Companies dispatched to Therma Check for a reported rubbish fire. Battalion 703 arrived with a 40 yard high boy dumpster near the building involved.

Engine 733 operated with (2) 1 3/4 Bumper lines. Engine 812 drop a supply line to Broadway. The fire was knocked down with extensive overhaul. No damage to the building.

Companies operated with no injuries on location.
