A Message from Our Water Department!

The Village of Westville Water system will be having some maintenance done on the north water tower beginning this week.

While this takes place the tower will be out of operation.

During this time the water system will be working off of the south tower only. You may experience discolored water and/or lower pressure during this time. There is NO NEED to boil water nor is there a boil order active at this time.

The Village of Westville would like to remind residents that individuals or companies conducting door-to-door solicitation within the Village are required to obtain a valid Solicitor Permit.

Current Active Solicitor Permits on File:
• Comcast
• Aveyo Solar
• Conxxus
• White Oak Construction

All approved solicitors will have a Village-issued photo badge and lanyard (sample attached).

If someone comes to your door claiming to be selling products or services and cannot provide a valid Village Solicitor Permit, please contact the Non-Emergency Number at (217) 442-0155.

As always, residents should use caution when providing personal information or allowing unknown individuals into their homes.

🇺🇸🛺 The Westville Patriotic Golf Cart Parade is this Sunday! 🛺🇺🇸

Get ready for an afternoon of patriotic fun as decorated golf carts roll through town as part of our Freedom Celebration!

📅 Sunday, June 14
📍 Westville High School Parking Lot
🏆 Judging at 12:15 PM
🚩 Parade begins at 1:00 PM

Have a golf cart? There's still time to decorate and join the fun! Gather your family and friends, show off your patriotic spirit, and compete for prizes.

🎖️ 1st Place - $100
🎖️ 2nd Place - $75
🎖️ 3rd Place - $50

Spectators are encouraged to line the parade route and cheer on the participants! See the attached route map for viewing locations.

Our goal was to create a website that is easier to navigate, more informative, and more accessible for residents, businesses, and visitors.

The new website features an updated design, improved navigation, enhanced community event information, expanded department resources, easier access to Village services, and new tools to help residents stay informed.
