Every Wednesday we are going to post about what’s happening in Westwego!! We will showcase the community projects happening within the City and COMING SOON Projects!! This WEDNESDAY we are going to Focus on The LMA: Louisiana Municipal Association BEST IN SHOW AWARD!!!!!

This announcement was made last week, but we are still reveling in the honor and thought you might enjoy hearing the moment the award was given. The City of Westwego received the "Best in Show" award from the LA Municipal Association for our outstanding plan for Westwego's future. These plans, along with grants fund many of the projects, include the Keyhole Greenway, drainage on Sala Avenue, repairing the Sixth Street Bridge, wastewater plant improvements, future street improvements, and more. Listen to the announcement and the amazing compliments our city received.
