Mayor Roy C. Keller of Westwego presenting the keys of a 1923 750-gallon pumper, hook and ladder fire truck, to Cal Shewmake, left front, Chief of the Westwego Volunteer Fire Company. The Fire truck was given to Westwego by the city of New Orleans on a token lease basis.

Just an update, the new station 91 Fire and EMS complex is coming along. We should be moving in by late January. Thanks to State Rep. Robert Billiot and Senator John Alario for getting this project a reality without costing The City of Westwego any tax paying money. We all really appreciate it!!!
