The IVP Office is the exec liaison between UCLA's community of 950+ student groups and works to ensure our Bruins are safe, empowered and connected.

The Internal Vice President's office is one of the 3 executive offices of the Undergraduate Students Association Council, UCLA's Student Government.The Internal Vice President office’s most important role is representing all UCLA students and student groups. The IVP is the executive liaison between our dynamic community of 1000+ student groups, USAC, and the administration. IVP programs and advocacy strive to ensure that all Bruins are safe, connected, and empowered.

At the 08/20/2026 USAC meeting, the Letter to Urge UCLA Administration to Save UCLA Childcare in Solidarity with Bruin Parenting Scholars, Faculty, and Staff unanimously passed.

All basic needs, including childcare, should be provided to our Bruin community. Student-parents, faculty, and staff should never be disregarded and sidelined, and we as a university need to support our Bruins with families. The closing of the only childcare center at UCLA follows a pattern of defunding essential programs that provide services to marginalized groups.

Guys I’m bored🙄… Let’s apply for the IVP Office!

I’m beyond excited to announce that we are now accepting applications to the UCLA IVP Office for the 2026-2027 academic year!🥳

We are looking for Executive staff, Directors, Staffers… you know, the whole thing.

What are we looking for? Passion. Beyond all else, we want our office to be filled with the next generation of movement-leaders and student organizers that lead with empathy, strategy, effectiveness, and an unwavering desire to make UCLA and the communities we serve better. To serve the students, we are calling on the students to lead the charge for change. 🌹

At the 06/02/2026 USAC meeting, the Resolution Calling For The Retroactive Removal of All “Incompletes” and Accompanying Permanent Notations From Undergraduate Student Transcripts passed with a 13-0-0 vote.

This is a collaborative effort with the Graduate Students Association (GSA) and USAC stands in solidarity with their advocacy efforts, as this issue impacts all UCLA students. We demand that transcripts are made equitable for all students, and especially those who have been disproportionately impacted by the harmful “Incomplete” notations.

At yesterday’s 06/02/2026 USAC meeting, the Letter in Solidarity with Afrikan Student Union Regarding the Rejection of the Carter-Huggins Hall Renaming Proposal from the UCLA Honorific Renaming Committee passed with a 13-0-0 vote.

“USAC stands in solidarity with the Black Bruin community in the fight against antiblackness, suppression of Black voices and lived experiences, and a campus that refuses time and time again to support its Black and Brown communities.”
