This infographic is the result of a lot of work and analysis by a lot of very smart and committed people. I’m excited to learn more and support a path forward to strengthening Dedham Public Schools.
Thanks to the Rennie Center for Education Research & Policy for sharing the first report from their work on an updated Educational Model for Dedham Public Schools! The report presented last night at School Committee focused on grade configuration and school facilities options and offers recommendations for how Dedham can create stronger learning environments for students while making thoughtful, long-term investments in its schools. The School Committee will vote at the end of September to select 3 options from the 10 presented to be moved forward and shared with the Facilities Master Plan project for further analysis and consideration.
LEARN MORE! Find the presentation slides, the full 100+ page report, or a much shorter executive summary of the report on the Educational Model page under Project Materials & Resources or linked in the update here: https://beheard.dedham-ma.gov/educational-model/news_feed/project-update-august-13-2026
A single-page Infographic that shows all 10 options along with the comparative rankings for each option is also available.
