What an incredible day for our 4th graders! Today was their L.E.A.D. party, and it was a huge success.

A massive thank you to Officer Casey for all your hard work and dedication to our 4th graders throughout the school year. 👮‍♂️✨

We also want to give a big shout-out to our local Police Department and Fire Department for showing up for our kids today! The students absolutely loved learning about your vital roles, checking out the awesome equipment, and seeing what it takes to do your jobs.

🌸 A Blooming Surprise for Brookside!
There is nothing quite like the lasting bond between a teacher and a student! Today, our Brookside mailboxes were filled with some extra sunshine thanks to a very special alumna.

Isabella (Bella) Cassai, a former Brookside student now at the high school, has been pouring her heart into a beautiful initiative called "The Crochet Project." To show her gratitude for the teachers who supported her journey, Bella hand-crocheted a unique flower for every single teacher in our building!

Seeing our former students give back with such thoughtfulness is a powerful reminder of the impact our educators have every day. We are so proud of Bella and her incredible talent!

The Brookside 4th-graders took us back to 1776 today at our annual Brookside Tea Party! ☕️🇺🇸

To celebrate the end of their American Revolution unit, our young historians transformed the gym into a colonial gathering. From the icy streets of the Boston Massacre to the high-stakes Battle of Bunker Hill, students proudly read their original non-fiction pieces to a full house of parents.

The atmosphere was electric, some students donned tricorn hats and colonial gowns, and our 4th-grade teachers couldn't resist joining the fun!

A huge thank you to our parent community for your incredible support. Having you there to cheer on these budding authors truly brought history to life!

We are officially rolling into testing season, and you know the Brookside staff couldn't let the halls stay quiet! To give our students an extra boost of confidence, our amazing team got creative and whipped up some fun, high-energy signs to cheer everyone on. 🎨✨

We know testing can feel a little heavy, but remember: you’ve got this! These tests are just a chance to show off all the hard work you’ve put in all year. 🧠💪

Brookside Kindergarten was alive with school spirit today for our Community Helpers Day! It was an incredible morning filled with inspiration and big smiles.

We want to give a massive shout-out to the amazing people from all over our neighborhood who took the time to visit. From local heroes in uniform to the professionals who keep our town running, you truly inspired our youngest learners today. The smiles on the kids' faces said it all, they loved every second of learning about what you do!

It’s days like this that remind us why Westwood is such a special place to live and grow. We are so lucky to be part of such a supportive, tight-knit community.

Our hallways were in excellent hands today as Principal CJ and Principal Avery took over the front office! These two hit the ground running and didn't stop until the final bell.

Here’s a look at their very busy "To-Do" list:

📢 Safety First: They successfully hosted a school-wide fire drill.

📋 Site Inspection: They completed a full facilities walk-through to keep our school sparkling.

🍕 Executive Lunch: They enjoyed a well-earned pizza party in the Principal's office with a friend.

🥗 Cafeteria Duty: They kept the peace (and the energy high!) during the lunch rush.

🏀 Gym Class Heroes: They headed to the mats to assist Mr. Holl and Ms. Riedel with PE.

Huge thanks to our guest administrators for their hard work and leadership. The future looks bright with these two in charge! 🌟
