With the federal government shutdown, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is no longer there for families who can’t make ends meet. CTDOL Jobs First Employment Services (JFES) families need help. Any donations of non-perishable food, infant formula, or canned goods would help JFES families. Please drop donations off between 9 am - 3 pm at:

Southwest American Job Center; 2 LaFayette Square, Bridgeport
Torrington American Job Center; 215 Hogan Dr, Torrington
Waterbury American Job Center; 249 Thomaston Ave, Waterbury
If you need help, call 2-1-1 or visit 211ct.org to find assistance near you. Connecticut Foodshare is also accepting donations and assisting individuals and families.
