Town Hall and Library will be closed Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day. There will be no trash or recycling collection on Monday, September 7th, and collections will be delayed by one day. The Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, September 7th, for the holiday.

🚧 Traffic Advisory 🚧

On Sunday, August 23, 2026, at 8:30 AM, the Hartford Marathon
Foundation will be hosting their annual Old Wethersfield 5K & 10K Road Race, which is
scheduled to last for approximately two (2) hours.
Please anticipate traffic delays due to road closures on Garden Street, Nott Street, Church Street,
Main Street, Hartford Avenue, State Street, Marsh Street, and Broad Street.
The Wethersfield Police Department is encouraging people to avoid the area for the runners'
safety and for anticipated traffic delays.
