Currently, the school has approximately 660 students enrolled.

September 3rd, WHS will have a Downtown Pep Rally at 6:00 PM to celebrate their home opener against Rehobeth the following night. The middle school football, cheer, dance, band programs, and youth teams can participate in this special community event. Each group will be welcomed and recognized during the rally. WHS is incredibly grateful to the City of Wetumpka and Elmore County for their continued support in making this event possible. We look forward to bringing our community together as One Tribe to help kick off their home opener!

The Wetumpka Middle School Boys will host a tryout Friday August 28th , 2026, after school in the big gym from 3:15 PM to 5:00 PM.

A physical is required to tryout if you do not have a physical you cannot tryout.
