In memory of Shawna Hutson, a dedicated member of our department, we are once again collecting pop tabs for Shriners Children's. Shawna had a heart for helping others, bringing people together, and helping better both our community and our department.❤️

Starting today, a red tote will be in the shelter house for drop-offs. Every tab helps provide care for kids who need it most. We hope whenever you see tabs, you think of saving them in memory of Shawna.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the amazing moms and women out there— especially those who have helped support, strengthen, and better our department in so many ways. Your dedication, encouragement, and behind-the-scenes efforts never go unnoticed. We appreciate everything you do for the Wever Fire family and our community.❤️

Planting season is in full swing—please stay alert for farm machinery on the roads. Farmers are working hard during all hours of the day — let’s keep everyone safe.

⚠️ Watch for slow-moving farm equipment.
⚠️ Give them space when passing.
⚠️ Be patient, they are moving as quick as they can.
⚠️ Be mindful of machinery making wide turns.

Safety is a shared responsibility—stay alert and be patient!
