While October may seem a long way off, preparations for the 2026 Wewoka Sorghum Festival are already underway!

This weekend, we'll continue one of the festival's oldest traditions by planting the sorghum around the 4th of July. It's a tradition that connects us to generations of festival volunteers and reminds us that great things take time to grow.

Over the next few months, we'll be sharing updates as the sorghum grows and festival plans come together. Before long, we'll all be gathering at the Seminole Nation Museum and downtown Wewoka on Saturday, October 24, 2026, to celebrate another unforgettable Sorghum Festival!

Calling all vendors! If you're planning to join us this year, now is the time to register. Vendor spaces fill quickly every year, so don't miss your opportunity to be part of one of Oklahoma's favorite fall traditions!

We can't wait to celebrate with you on October 24! 🇺🇸🌾
