School’s back in session, but summer fun isn’t over just yet! 😎 We’re making a few changes to our Splash Pad schedule as we head into the final days of the season.

Starting TOMORROW, August 31, our Splash Pad hours will be:

🌊 Weekdays: 4:00–6:00 P.M.
🌊 Weekends: 11:00 A.M.–6:00 P.M.
🎉 Labor Day, September 7: 11:00 A.M.–6:00 P.M.

And don’t forget—September 7 is the last day of the season!

🚧 Bakerstown Road Work

PennDOT is completing seal coating/tar and chip work on Bakerstown Road. The Township was recently notified that the work is taking place, and we have been in direct communication with PennDOT to express concerns regarding the construction work.

PennDOT plans to sweep loose chips on Sunday, and school traffic should be back to normal on Monday.

Please use caution or avoid traveling through the work area, and thank you for your patience while the work is completed!

PennDOT can be reached directly with any concerns at 1-800-FIX-ROAD, or please feel free to comment on this post and we will make sure we pass comments along as we continue to communicate with them during this process!

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy an amazing night of live music from Steel Mill Rising, delicious food from Hermes Food Truck, and local vendors, while making lasting memories with friends, family, and neighbors. We're grateful for everyone who has helped make this summer so special!

There are only a few Thursdays left to enjoy the Farmers Market at Pine! 🛍️ Stop by from 5:00–7:30 P.M. through September 10 for fresh produce, local vendors, tasty treats, and more.

And don't miss the final concert of the 2026 Allegheny Health Network Wexford Summer Concert Series at the Pine Community Park Amphitheater on Thursday, September 17! National act The Wailers will take the stage for an unforgettable night of live music 🎵🌴

From Learn to Play Pickleball to returning favorites like basketball, volleyball, multi-sport, and baseball, we have plenty of opportunities for young athletes to learn, play, and have fun!

Our Learn to Play sports programs are introductory in nature, focusing on sport fundamentals, skill development, and building confidence in a fun and positive environment. No experience necessary—just come ready to play!

Our Volunteer Appreciation Picnic was a wonderful opportunity to come together, enjoy some good food and conversation, and most importantly, recognize our incredible volunteers across the Township.

Rescheduled and ready to rock! 🎶

After being postponed earlier this summer due to poor air quality, we're excited to welcome Steel Mill Rising to the Pine Community Park Amphitheater on Thursday, August 27, for the rescheduled performance in the 2026 Allegheny Health Network Wexford Summer Concert Series!

Make it a full evening of summer fun by starting at the Farmers Market at Pine from 5:00–7:30 P.M., then grab dinner from Hermes Food Truck, enjoy a sweet treat from Bruster's, sip on refreshing drinks from Cinderlands, and settle in for a great night of live music under the stars 🛍️🍦🎵

Pack your lawn chairs, gather your family and friends, and join us for another amazing concert. We can't wait to see everyone at the Amphitheater for an unforgettable summer evening!
