We’re proud to be a collection site for the United Way of Central Shenandoah Valley’s Tools for School program — helping local students in Harrisonburg City and Rockingham County public schools start the school year with everything they need! 💪📚

We're accepting donations of essential school supplies like:

🚛 Our truck made a stop at Riverheads High School on April 11th to support the Sharing the Road program, a safety initiative from the Virginia Trucking Association and Virginia Tech Transportation Institute.

We were proud to help teach young drivers how to safely navigate the road around big rigs. Real-life demos like this one save lives—and our team was thrilled to be part of it!

Come Grow With Us! Houff Corporation is an agricultural and industrial services company, serving businesses and farms throughout the Shenandoah Valley and beyond. We are currently looking for a full-time applicator to apply liquid and dry fertilizers and crop protectants on area farms. Job duties include custom application, CDL driving, and fertilizer plant support.

Preferred candidates will have agricultural experience and currently hold or be able to obtain a Class A CDL.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Operate or tend equipment used in fertilizer and chemical application such nurse trucks or applicators

Operate Commercial Motor Vehicle following DOT regulations

Currently hold or be able to obtain a valid Commercial Driver’s License and Commercial Applicator License (company will train and assist)

Other duties as assigned
