Our EMT class is well underway. The past several weeks our students have learned about the history of ems, provider safety and well being, proper lifting techniques, Medevac operations and this week anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology.

The WCFC has 5 members in the class, along with members from other Augusta and Rockingham County agencies.

They will finish in September with their National Certification testing.

We thank all of YOU who made our lawn party & cash raffle a success! This goes to all of our community members and businesses, our beyond dedicated members who make the sacrifice daily to provide a service, but go a little extra the week of lawn party. Last but not least, the family members of those volunteers who pitch in to help where they can, and allow their loved ones to spend so much time assisting the fire company. None of what we do would be possible without of these things working together! Our sincerest THANK YOU!

A sincere THANK YOU to everyone who supported, not only the annual cash raffle, but our lawn party. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Funds made go directly to supporting our company in various ways from equipment, apparatus, supplies, building updates, etc. Without the support from all of YOU, our purposeful service to the communities wouldn’t be possible!
