This isn’t the first time SEWA has stepped up — they did the same last June — and we are truly grateful for their continued partnership and commitment to serving others.

Each year, the Weymouth Rotary Club honors a non‑Rotarian who exemplifies service, integrity, and leadership in our community. This year, they selected someone incredibly special to us — Sally Silva, retired RN and 34‑year volunteer at the Weymouth Food Pantry.

The award was presented by longtime Rotarian Gael Sullivan, and our Executive Director, Pam Denholm, shared a few heartfelt words about Sally’s decades of dedication. Pam and Jen O’Brien were honored to attend and celebrate this moment with her.

Congratulations, Sally, on being named the Weymouth Rotary Club’s Person of the Year! Your compassion and commitment have nourished our community for more than three decades.

The Weymouth Food Pantry will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day as we pause to honor and remember those who have served.

Please also note:
There will not be a drive‑thru Pop Up Pantry on Tuesday, May 26th at The First Church in Weymouth.

💙 Stamp Out Hunger = HUGE Success!

Weymouth, you showed up in a big way this weekend! Our community collected an incredible 4,437 lbs. of food during the annual US Postal Service Stamp Out Hunger postal food drive — all of it staying right here to support our neighbors.

A massive thank‑you to our amazing Weymouth postal workers who make this collection happen every year. We know it’s no small lift — squeezing donations into those smaller postal jeeps, adding extra pickups on top of your regular routes, and still doing it all with heart.

After the collection, our postal team even hosts a BBQ together — a well‑earned celebration after a long day of giving back.

To our postal workers and to every donor who left a bag by the mailbox: thank you for helping nourish our community. The Town of Weymouth is stronger because of you. 💙🥫

We’re so grateful to Rockland Federal Credit Union’s Weymouth branch for hosting a food drive just for our Backpack Program!

Their team put together a fantastic display and is helping us gather the items kids love and families count on.

💛 A huge thank‑you to Tullish & Clancy Real Estate!

Last month they hosted a community shred event to benefit the food pantry, and this past week their team joined us again — rolling up their sleeves to help organize salvaged shelf‑stable donations and get them onto our shelves for distribution.

The team volunteered in honor of Joe Clancy Sr.’s birthday on May 8, with both of his sons, Mike and Joe Jr., here to celebrate their dad’s legacy of service.

Founded in 1972 and rooted in Weymouth for over 50 years, Tullish & Clancy continues to show what true community partnership looks like — local expertise, family leadership, and a deep commitment to giving back.
