Summer BackPack Program
School may be out, but nutrition needs don’t take a break. The Weymouth Food Pantry is partnering with Weymouth Youth & Family Services Teen Center to continue our Summer BackPack Program, ensuring kids have the food they need all summer long.

Families can stop by the Weymouth Youth & Families Teen Center to pick up a Summer Cooler Bag filled with kid‑friendly items like juice, milk, granola bars, soup, mac & cheese cups, crackers, oatmeal, and more.

“Bags may include items such as Juice, Milk, Granola bars, Soup, Mac & Cheese cups, Crackers, oatmeal and more.” Allergy and restricted food bags included as well.

🕙 Hours: Monday–Friday, 10 AM–5 PM

Thank‑you to Mohawk Global for volunteering at our Pop Up Pantry at Crossroads Worship Center last week!

Their team jumped right in with heart and energy — and together, we helped serve over 130 households. That’s 130 families who left with fresh, healthy food for the week.

Each year, the Weymouth Rotary Club honors a non‑Rotarian who exemplifies service, integrity, and leadership in our community. This year, they selected someone incredibly special to us — Sally Silva, retired RN and 34‑year volunteer at the Weymouth Food Pantry.

The award was presented by longtime Rotarian Gael Sullivan, and our Executive Director, Pam Denholm, shared a few heartfelt words about Sally’s decades of dedication. Pam and Jen O’Brien were honored to attend and celebrate this moment with her.

Congratulations, Sally, on being named the Weymouth Rotary Club’s Person of the Year! Your compassion and commitment have nourished our community for more than three decades.

The Weymouth Food Pantry will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day as we pause to honor and remember those who have served.

Please also note:
There will not be a drive‑thru Pop Up Pantry on Tuesday, May 26th at The First Church in Weymouth.
