🚨 Our new rescue truck has arrived and we couldn’t be more excited to start training with it. We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support from our community—it truly makes everything we do possible.

…Alright, you got us—April Fools! 😄

But in all seriousness, we do have some great equipment and we’d love the opportunity to show you what we do and even train with you. Our department is 100% volunteer, and we’re always looking for new members to join the team.

Our annual Beefsteak 🥩 Tricky Tray Dinner is April 18, 2026. Our members have tickets 🎫, but we’re expecting a sold out event. Contact a member or Geno for tickets.

This past Saturday 3/14, a little after 9pm Wharton FD was dispatched to a residential structure fire. Chief 1 got on scene and confirmed a working fire, crews arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. Thanks to mutual aid Dover, Picatinny, Mine Hill, Netcong, Rockaway, and Morris plains for the assistance.
