Tonight and tomorrow night, the City of Wharton will continue spraying for mosquitoes if conditions permit. Please be aware that spraying will not occur if it rains or if the wind speed exceeds 10 mph. The City will continue to use a v***r-delivery spraying system that converts the insecticide into a v***r or fine mist.
While it is not mandatory to bring your pets indoors during spraying, it is recommended to minimize their exposure to the spray. Additionally, please ensure there is no standing water on your property that may contribute to mosquito breeding.
