Affordable housing builds more than homes. It builds Colorado's economy.

A report from the nonpartisan Colorado Futures Center finds that the development and preservation of affordable housing across the state generates $2.7 billion in economic activity each year, sustains over 14,000 jobs, and returns nearly $80 million in annual tax revenue to Colorado. Private and public investments in Denver-area affordable housing alone resulted in more than $2 billion in annual economic output.

Yesterday, staff joined the Jefferson County Commissioners as they proclaimed May as Affordable Housing Awareness Month in Jeffco.

We are grateful for the county's commitment to expanding affordable housing. FRH wouldn't be able to do what we do without their support!
