Congratulations to District 2 resident Megan Nix Wiedel for her thought-provoking piece in today's Washington Post. We have so many talented and passionate citizens in our city!

The problem is that these activities are supplying my kids with lessons they don’t need to learn at this point in their lives, on a strict schedule, and with monthly fees.

Well, it's official. I was sworn in as your District 2 City Council member on November 18! I was joined by Judy Hutchinson (District 1), Korey Stites (District 3), Valerie Nosler Beck (District 4), and Steve Kirkpatrick (City Clerk).
