For those attending this afternoon’s rally, it does appear some weather may pop up right as everything is starting. We’re being asked to stay in our cars until it passes, to make sure everyone stays safe. Then we can get out to show our support!
Teachers, you should have also received an email that has a map with parking instructions as well!

Updated: The weather looks good for tomorrow so there will be sandwiches and waters for those attending! Families are welcome! It is expected to be a decent group tomorrow so make sure to pay attention for parking!

For those attending Monday’s stand with NIPSCO, here is some important information:

- Signs are currently on backorder so there will only be a few available on Monday, so those attending are encouraged to bring their own posters! There will also be posterboard and markers at the site to make your own as well.

- In the event that the original parking area (the 2 driveways on the north side of 1500) is full, organizers will direct people to an additional site and shuttle people back and forth.

- The NIPSCO organizers are super excited for us to be there and they are even bringing out drones and aerial photography in order to take pictures of our unions standing together!

- If the weather is nice, they also want to bring out a grill and make food for everyone as a thank you!

After multiple meetings, we are facing stalled negotiations and the administration is counting on us to stay quiet. They think we’ll back down. They don’t think we’ll keep up the fight for all of our teachers!
