This quilt is being raffled off by the LPM. It was made by community members throughout the county. I can't remember the occasion; can anybody help me? Each square represents a part of Platte County. Tickets can be purchased at the museum and the money raised will go to the museum.

This is the collection of Francis McGuire of Wheatland. He worked for the telephone Company most of his life.
Everyone is on their phone now days, no matter what their age is!!
One wonders how long they used to make a call with some of the phones from this collection? There is every type of phone as the years has rolled on. Not many of them will let you play games on them.

Kids are amazed how they work as they view this exhibit. also how many people listen on them in the neighborhood too.
Try explain that to the younger generation!!
