It is with great pride that I welcome you to Bear River School. At all hours of the day and night, the school is alive with the sound of people working, learning, playing, laughing and enjoying all kinds of educational activities. e accomplishments made by our students, and much of their success has come from high expectations paired with effective instructional skills and layers of intervention. In addition, we believe that education is a partnership that includes you, your children, and our staff. We provide outstanding teachers, a caring and supportive staff, and a safe, fun, and rigorous learning environment for your child(ren). As our partners, we need you to instill in your child(ren) the value of education. Some of the best ways to do this are making sure your child(ren) arrive(s) each day on time and ready to learn, helping them with homework, and talking with them about ideas and topics that they're studying in school. Bear River is your school. I want you to feel that you are a welcome and an integral part of this learning community. Get involved! Time invested with your child(ren) at home and at school pays off in huge dividends. The more you participate, the more you and your child(ren) will benefit from school. I strongly encourage you to volunteer as a classroom tutor, library, or computer lab aide, and chaperone on field trips. Please contact your classroom teacher or call the school for more information on ways that you can get involved. If there is something going on that you feel may impact your child's success or focus at school, please communicate with your child's teacher, myself, or Mr. Guzman. We are all here to support you and your student in the pursuit of excellence.
