As Firefighter/EMT Pete Holm enters into retirement, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude and appreciation for his over 50 years of dedicated service. Pete's journey began in 1974 when he joined a wildland crew in California, and over the years he has continuously committed himself to protecting and serving his community. Although he may have started his career far away from Hermitage, Missouri, fate led him there where he spent the last 5 years as a member of the Central Hickory Fire Rescue team. Throughout his time with the department, Pete has undoubtedly made a lasting impact on those he has worked with and the community he has served. We cannot thank him enough for his unwavering dedication and service, and we wish him all the best in this new chapter of his life. Congratulations on your retirement, Pete!
