Tornado Warning for southern Kane, northeast Kendall, southern DuPage, and northern Will Counties. including Aurora IL, Joliet IL and Naperville IL until 11:00 AM CDT. Within this warning, embedded tornadoes and destructive tornado-like thunderstorm winds both possible. Aurora Airport in Sugar Grove recently gusted to 85 mph. Head indoors for safe shelter immediately!

At 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 9 in Memorial Park, the City of Wheaton, in conjunction with Kilwins and Kimmer's Ice Cream, invites the community to enjoy 1,776 scoops of ice cream to celebrate our nation's 250th anniversary.

Then, enjoy the Wheaton Municipal Band's concert in the park featuring patriotic selections, plus members from Wheaton middle school bands will join in a unique side-by-side performance.
