Welcome to Milton Township, located in DuPage County, Illinois. Milton Township is comprised of most of Glen Ellyn and Wheaton, as well as parts of Carol Stream, Downers Grove, Glendale Heights, Lisle, Lombard, Naperville and Winfield. The Township is a local unit of government overseen by four Trustees including Larry Pitts, Paula McGowen, Steve Siemer and Jacqueline McGrath along with the Superv

isor, Elizabeth "Buffy" Higgins-Beard. The Township Clerk, Dan Bailey, is the keeper of the township records, the local election authority, is responsible for publishing notices and keeps minutes of each township meeting. LeVan is the Milton Township Assessor responsible for determining the value of each taxable property in the township. The Assessor's Office can be reached at 630-653-5220. Drew is the Highway Commissioner responsible for maintaining all roads in the unincorporated areas of Milton Township, including general upkeep as well as snow removal. The Milton Township Highway Department is located at 23W040 Poss Street, Glen Ellyn, Illinois 60137. Office hours for the Highway Department are Monday through Thursday 8:00 am-4:00 pm and Fridays 8:00 am-3:00 pm. Any questions or concerns about your street can be directed to phone number 630-682-4270. Milton Township is also home to the Milton Township Food Pantry, run entirely by volunteers and funded only through generous donations of people like you. As a 501 (c)(3), food and monetary donations are always accepted to help the needy in our township community!

The Milton Township/ Glen Ellyn Mosquito Abatement District will be fogging August 4th at Dusk to mitigate the risk of recent trap detection.

Residents can help reduce bites by using EPA-registered repellent and eliminating standing water around their homes.

July's Senior Bingo was one we have to share!
We had a fantastic time, and our oldest attendee was an impressive 103 years young! She brought so much joy with her adorable "no no no” when we did not call her numbers!

We also awarded an attendee with a acts certificate for sharing his winnings. Remember, it can be that simple: even if you didn't do the act, share the act, and be recognized.

We hope everyone is staying safe during the storms.
Due to weather conditions and storm damage, the Milton Township Food Pantry will be closed.
