From NWS Pittsburgh: Enhanced risk for potentially severe weather today Tuesday July 21st 2026:

⚠️ Rainfall rates of 3 to 5 inches per hour
⚠️ Damaging wind
⚠️ Isolated tornadoes
⚠️ 1 inch or larger size hail

NWS Pittsburgh project time frame for potentially severe weather: 12noon today through 8pm tonight…

Make sure you are able to receive severe weather alerts especially in the event of a power outage…

Have a plan in place to go in the event of:

A Tornado Warning would be issued…
A Flash Flood Warning would be issued…

These two young men have already shown dedication and commitment to serving others through their involvement with our department. We are incredibly proud of their accomplishments and excited to see what the future holds for them.
