Good news! Buffalo Grove residents can visit either the Indian Trails Library or Vernon Area Library to verify their residency and walk away with a fully active library card, regardless of which service area their home falls within, thanks to a new intergovernmental agreement.

Residents can now visit either the Indian Trails or Vernon Area libraries to verify their residency and walk away with a fully active library card, regardless of which service area their home falls within, thanks to a new intergovernmental agreement.

Both libraries can now verify residency and issue cards for the neighboring district on the spot, providing a "one-stop" registration experience, so you don’t have to know which district you reside in. Both the Vernon Area and Indian Trails Library share the same database, catalog, and registration procedures, allowing you to use one card at both libraries.

The kickoff was a ROARING success! 🦖 We are amazed by the turnout and the enthusiasm of our community, with 2,100 visitors and nearly 1,000 Summer Library Adventure registrations during the kickoff alone! Thank you to everyone who spent their Saturday with us.
The fun is certainly not over! You can still register any time for the Summer Library Adventure, and there are dino-themed programs throughout the summer. Summer Library Adventure runs until Monday, August 10.

The Launch Pad summer hours are here! From June 8-August 18, the Launch Pad has extended hours as follows:

Monday-Friday: 12-8 pm
Saturday: 10 am-4 pm
Sunday: 1-4 pm

Digital Media Labs are as follows:
Monday-Friday: 12-7:30 pm
Saturday: 10 am-3:30 pm
Sunday: 1-3:30 pm
