History came to life at our Third-Grade Wax Museum!

After researching influential figures from history, our Tigers transformed themselves into the people they studied, sharing facts, stories and accomplishments with visitors who stopped by their exhibits. With an assortment of notable figures, including scientists, inventors, leaders, artists and athletes, the museum was filled with learning, creativity and impressive presentations.

We are so proud of the hard work our third graders put into this project and the confidence they showed while bringing these remarkable individuals to life.

Congratulations to the 2026 NEU Tarkington Scholarship Recipients, Ronnie Segundo and Yaretzi Lozano from Wheeling High School! They each will receive a $500 Scholarship to help them with college expenses.

Big learning is happening in our preschool classrooms!

As part of their building study, Ms. Emily's AM preschool class welcome a very special guest today – structural engineer Brett Carey (the husband of our very own Ms. Emily!) Students got a behind-the-scenes look at photos from a real parking garage construction project and asked lots of thoughtful questions about the equipment, workers, and how buildings come together.

One of the biggest surprises? Learning that hundreds of people can work on a construction site at the same time!

Thank you to Mr. Carey for helping bring real-world learning to life for our youngest learners!

Helping Paws Student Service Club recently volunteered at Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg, where they packed food to be shipped all over the world to those who need food. Students reflecting after the packing session said that they felt grateful, helpful and happy about their volunteer experience.

It’s official — we have a finish line!

The last day of school for students is Tuesday, June 2! As we head into the final weeks, let’s celebrate a year full of growth, achievements, and unforgettable moments.

Here’s to ending the year strong and soaking in every last milestone along the way. Let the countdown begin!

(Note: Preschoolers will have a non-attendance day this day)
