🏅 APPALACHIA INSIDER TO LIVE STREAM BIG SANDY SENIOR GAMES AS OUTDOOR EVENTS BEGIN FRIDAY 🏆

The 39th Annual Big Sandy Area Development District Senior Games will continue Friday, May 15, with opening ceremonies scheduled for 10:00 a.m. and games beginning around 10:15 a.m.

Friday marks the second day of the Senior Games and the beginning of outdoor events at the Dewey Lake Downstream Area in Prestonsburg.

The agenda includes opening remarks, presentation of colors, prayer, musical performances, participant presentations, and recognition from regional organizations and community leaders.

Appalachia Insider’s Christopher Allen is also scheduled to participate in the opening ceremonies by reading the senior oath.

🏅 Friday’s competitions include the mile walk, football toss, softball toss, horseshoes, basketball toss, free throw shooting, corn hole, shuffleboard, bingo, archery, mini golf, and more.

🏆 Appalachia Insider will be LIVE with coverage throughout the event.
