For 10 years, she has shown up with hard work, commitment, and a genuine desire to serve our citizens. Her knowledge, dependability, and all the little things she does each day make a difference. Today we want to give a BIG shoutout and a whole lot of appreciation to our Utilities Director Josh Ausburn! Josh has been with the city for 19 years! So much of what he does happens behind the scenes, but his hard work, dedication, and willingness to do whatever it takes to keep things running smoothly does NOT go unnoticed. Whether it’s early mornings, long days, fixing problems, or answering the call when something goes wrong! He is always willing to step up and get the job done. We are truly thankful for all you do for our community and for the dedication you put into serving the people around you. We appreciate you more than you know! Thank you for keeping the city running!

Today, we highlight John Jackson, known to many as "JJ". John has been with the Whigham Police Department for 3 years and is willing to help anyone he can. He certainly is one that "has a servants heart" and serves his community with pride. Thank you, Officer Jackson, for all you do for the City of Whigham.

We want to recognize the Assistant City Clerk, Taylor Lambert, as we celebrate her being with the city for 5 years today! Taylor has been a great asset to the City and if you need something organized, set straight, figured out, or need a good laugh, she's the one to go to! Thank you for always rolling up your sleeves and tackling any problem that comes our way. We are so grateful for you and all you do, Taylor! Thanks for 5 wonderful years so far. ❤️
