Hanover Sewerage Authority (HSA) has notified the Township it has detected a petroleum product in the flow entering the treatment plant twice in the last two weeks, most recently this morning. The odors detected most resemble diesel fuel. HSA is working to identify the origin of the material.

If you have any information regarding observance of unusual activity or conditions which may be related to the spills, please contact HSA at 973-428-2486.

As a reminder, oils and petroleum products must never be disposed of through household drains or storm sewers.
