September 2025 Press Release
On September 01, 2025, PO Patrick Thompson arrested Dennis Lombardo Jr., 38, of Pequannock, NJ for being under the influence of CDS and possession of drug paraphernalia. PO Thompson observed Mr. Lombardo stumbling in the parking lot of the Quick Chek 2 S. Jefferson Rd and stopped to investigate. Mr. Lombardo had a white residue on his nostril and admitted to using Adderall and Ketamine. Field Sobriety tests were conducted and Mr. Lombardo failed. He was charged with the listed offenses and released with a court date.
On September 02, 2025, PO Joseph Dambra arrested Wilfredo Lopez, 29, of Morris Plains, NJ on an outstanding criminal warrant out of Randolph Twp. Court. PO Dambra stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation and found that Lopez had an NCIC warrant. Lopez was arrested and later turned over to the Randolph Police Department. He was also issued traffic summons, including possessing an open container of ma*****na in the vehicle.
On September 03, 2025, Sgt. Richard Camasta observed a sign in the window of Puff City 569 Rt #10 advertising flavored v**e products which are prohibited for sale in NJ. After a brief investigation, along with the Health Department, the owner Jasbir Singh, 49, of Milltown, NJ was charged with the sale of flavored Vapes and released with a court date.
On September 03, 2025, PO Anthony D’Angelo charged Michele Fradkin, 60, of Kinnelon, NJ with shoplifting. Det. Edward Zakrzewski was at the Wegman’s when Loss Prevention observed Fradkin concealing $256.67 worth of merchandise in reusable bags and she was arrested by Det. Zakrzewski. Fradkin was charged with shoplifting and released with a court date.
On September 03, 2025, PO Stephen Manney charged Jennifer Buchold, 46, of Whippany and Skyler Doychak, 28, of Newton, NJ with Theft of Lost Property and Conspiracy. PO Manney responded to the Scottish Inn Rt #10 on a reported theft. After a brief investigation it was determined that the two women stole two bags of clothing left on the curb by another party. Both females were arrested and later released with court dates.
On September 05, 20025, PO Bernard Dahdah took a report of shoplifting that occurred on 7/11/25 from Ulta Beauty. The suspect, captured on video surveillance, had walked out of the store without paying for $1550.00 worth of various colognes. His identify was unknown, but Ulta Beauty records identified this male as being responsible for shoplifting a total of $12,223.99 worth of products from their stores. The case was turned over to Det. Erick Magley who was able to identify the vehicle the male arrived in, and further investigation identified him as Javaun Kirkpatrick, 27, of Saint Albans, NY. Det. Magley charged Kirkpatrick with the July shoplifting and mailed him a complaint with a court date. Ulta Beauty was advised of the male’s identity to follow-up on the other outstanding thefts he is responsible for.
On September 06, 2025, PO Sean Coleman arrested Adrian Aranda, 24, of Hackensack, NJ with Driving while intoxicated. PO Coleman responded to Vincent Terrace on a suspicious vehicle and found Mr. Aranda passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle. PO Coleman observed signs of impairment and field sobriety tests were conducted. Mr. Aranda was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated and multiple traffic offenses. He was released with a court date.
On September 07, 2025, PO Bernard Dahdah arrested Matthew Tuck, 53, and Maria Tuck, 61, both of W. Caldwell for shoplifting. A Wegmans employee reported that they had two persons detained for shoplifting. Officers responded and learned that both people worked together to walked past the registers without paying for $407.86 worth of merchandise. Both parties were charged with shoplifting and released with a court date.
On September 08, 2025, PO Thomas Adamiak arrested Sean Halvorsen, 34, of Wood-Ridge, NJ on an active traffic warrant out of the Hanover Township Municipal Court. Officers responded to the Bergen County Jail, took custody of Halvorsen and transported him to the Morris County Jail where he was lodged pending a court hearing.
On September 08, 2025, PO Woodruff charged Juan Ramirez, 29, of Kearny, NJ with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of prescription legend drugs and hindering by providing false information. PO Foesel, while assigned the Court security detail for the Hanover Township Municipal Court, screened a male for entrance into the court and found that the bag he was carrying contained Prescription drugs for which he had no prescription and other drug paraphernalia. Ramirez was turned over to PO Woodruff for processing and provided a false name. Ramirez was found to have three outstanding warrants for his arrest. After processing for the Hanover charges, Ramirez was turned over to the West Newark Police on a no bail warrant issued out of their court.
On September 10, 2025, Det. Erick Magley arrested Mohamed Elkadi, 48, and Hadir Elmorsy, 46, both of Morristown, NJ with Shoplifting and Conspiracy to commit shoplifting. Shoprite Loss Prevention contacted Det. Magley in reference to a male and female that had been shoplifting from the store since December of 2024 and provided video evidence. Det. Magley investigated and was able to identify the actors. Elkadi shoplifted a total of nine times for $1002.00 worth of merchandise and Elmorsy a total of eight times for $381.00 worth of merchandise. Both parties were served their respective charges and released with a court date.
On September 11, 2025, PO Brian Morrisroe arrested Kishon Ridley, 44, of Plainfield, NJ for driving while intoxicated. PO Morrisroe was traveling east on Route 24 when he observed a vehicle traveling east in the westbound lanes. He conducted a traffic stop and observed signs of impairment and field sobriety tests were conducted. Miss Ridley provided samples of her breath and was found to be above the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, improper use of divided highway and multiple other traffic offenses. She was released to a responsible party with a court date.
On September 12, 2025, Sgt. Eric Prach charged William Ross, 19, of Morristown, NJ with criminal mischief and defiant trespassing. On 08/23/25 Sgt. Prach was on patrol when he observed new graffiti to Morristown & Erie Rail cars on S. Jefferson Rd. which was found to be damage in the amount of $1200.00. Due to Sgt. Prach’s expertise in Graffiti investigations, he quickly identified Ross as the actor, and after getting no response from Mr. Ross he charged him.
On September 12, 2025, Sgt. Paul Gundersdorf charged Patsy Casamassa, 53, of Morris Plains, NJ with harassment, defiant trespassing and criminal mischief. Sgt. Gundersdorf took a complaint from Mr. Casamassa’s neighbor about an ongoing neighbor dispute. Video evidence was presented showing Mr. Casamassa trespassing and damaging video camera’s belonging to the neighbor over a dispute over a fence. Mr. Casamassa was charged and his complaint was mailed to him with a court date.
On September 15, 2025, PO Sean Coleman arrested Jose Morales-Barriento, 29, of Humble, TX for displaying and possessing a fraudulent temporary vehicle registration plate. PO Coleman was in the Walmart parking lot when he observed the fraudulent registration taped to a vehicle trunk with a driver in the vehicle. Subsequent investigation and admission by Morales-Barriento caused PO Coleman to charge him with displaying and possessing fraudulent registration as well as multiple traffic offenses. He was released with a court date.
On September 16, 2025, Det. Edward Zakrzewski arrested Trevor Lawson, 40, of Pinebrook, NJ and Karieem Coleman, 45, of Bronx, NY for shoplifting and conspiracy to commit shoplifting. Det. Zakrzewski was at Wegmans following up on another matter when Loss Prevention observed Mr. Lawson walking out of the store without paying for $238.00 worth of merchandise. Det. Zakrzewski arrested Mr. Lawson in his vehicle. Loss prevention identified Mr. Coleman as working with Lawson, but he left a cart containing $290.00 worth of merchandise and fled on foot. Lt. Robert Carpenter located Mr. Coleman at a local motel, and he was also arrested. Mr. Coleman was charged and released with a court date. Mr. Lawson was charged and lodged in the Morris County Jail pending a detention hearing.
On September 16, 2025, PO Brian Morrisroe arrested Colleen McDermott, 54, of Morristown, NJ with driving while intoxicated. PO Morrisroe was investigating a motor vehicle crash on Ridgedale Ave and while speaking with one of drivers observed signs of impairment. Field sobriety tests were conducted, and McDermott was subsequently arrested. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI in a school zone and other motor vehicle offenses. She was released to a responsible party with a court date.
On September 16, 2025, Det. Joshua Williams charged Michael Weber, 64, of Clementon, NJ with Shoplifting, eluding police and obstruction. Det. Williams was doing proactive surveillance at the Wegman’s when Loss Prevention advised that they had a shoplifter fleeing through the parking lot. Det. Williams observed the vehicle being driven recklessly in the parking lot, followed it into another parking lot where he activated emergency lights. The driver stopped momentarily but then fled through the parking lot at a high speed. Det. Williams lost sight of the vehicle, but the license plate was obtained, and the registered owner was the actor. He was contacted and turned himself in. He was arrested and charged with criminal offenses as well as seven traffic violations. Mr. Weber was released with a court date.
On September 17, 2025, Det. Edward Zakrzewski arrested George Iwanus, 51, of Wall, NJ on an outstanding criminal warrant from a prior shoplifting. Det. Zakrzewski and Det. Magley responded to the Aberdeen Twp Police Department and took custody of Mr. Iwanus after he was arrested on the warrant. Mr. Iwanus was identified by Det. Zakrzewski as the actor in two thefts from Wegmans in August. He had stolen a total of $557.85 worth of merchandise. He refused to turn himself in, so a warrant was issued for his arrest. Mr. Iwanus was transported to Hanover and then lodged in the Morris County Jail pending a detention hearing.
On September 18, 2025, PO Carlos Najera arrested Donald Rolandelli, 35, of Whippany, NJ on an active warrant for failing to appear in the Hanover Township Municipal Court on a criminal matter. Sgt. Paul Gundersdorf, knowing of the warrant, observed and stopped Mr. Rolandelli who was then turned over to Officer Najera. Mr. Rolandelli could not post the bail and was lodged in the Morris County Jail pending a court hearing.
On September 19, 2025, PO Michael Kaiser charged Matthew Kilpatrick, 33, and Lisa Jensen, 30, both of Orange, NJ for shoplifting $531.38 worth of merchandise from the Wegmans and conspiracy to shoplift. On September 17, PO Kaiser took a report from Wegmans Loss Prevention of a shoplifting that had occurred earlier in the day. PO Kaiser investigated and was able to identify the two actors, Mr. Kilpatrick and Miss Jensen. They were contacted and turned themselves in. Miss Jensen was released with a court date and Mr. Kilpatrick was lodged in the Morris County Jail pending a detention hearing.
On September 19, 2025, PO Brian Morrisroe arrested Richard Greenberg, 51, of Whippany, NJ for shoplifting $298.16 worth of merchandise. PO Morrisroe was at Wegmans for a separate incident when he was advised by Loss Prevention that a male was observed walking out of the store without paying for the items. PO Morrisroe located Mr. Greenberg in the parking lot and placed him under arrest. He was charged and released with a court date.
On September 02, 2025, Sgt. Eric Prach charged Maximilian Shalayev, 19, of Westfield, NJ with criminal mischief and defiant trespassing. Sgt. Prach had located graffiti on train cars on the Morristown & Erie rail line adjacent to Rosin Road. Due to prior investigations, Sgt. Prach was able to immediately identify the tag “LASH” as being used by Mr. Shalayev. He was mailed a complaint for the charges and provided with a court date.
On September 20, 2025, PO Robert Miele arrested Ramir Coleman, 35, of Jersey City, NJ for an outstanding traffic warrant issued by the Hanover Township Municipal Court. PO Miele and Morrisroe picked up Coleman at the Hudson County Jail and transported him to the Morris County Jail where he was lodged pending a court date.
On September 20, 2025, PO Brian Morrisroe arrested Joel Tejeda, 30, of Bronx, NY for shoplifting $1486.67 worth of merchandise from Wegmans by leaving the store on September 18, without paying for the items. Loss prevention reported the theft after reviewing surveillance footage. Mr. Tejeda was identified after being arrested at the Montvale Wegmans for shoplifting after he stole the items in Hanover. Mr. Tejeda turned himself in, was served with a complaint summons and released with a court date.
On September 23, 2025, PO Carlos Najera arrested Joel Tejeda, 30, of Bronx, NY for shoplifting $1164.72 worth of merchandise from Wegmans by leaving the store on September 17, without paying for the items. Loss prevention reported the theft after reviewing surveillance footage. Mr. Tejeda was identified after an investigation and came to police headquarters to turn himself in. He was served with a complaint summons and released with a court date. On September 26, 2025, Dayanna Garcia-Leiva, 27, of Rochelle Park, NJ who assisted Mr. Tejeda during the shoplifting turned herself into PO Najera. She was charged with conspiracy to commit shoplifting and released with a court date.
On September 23, 2025, PO Carlos Najera arrested Kelvin Ventura Ramos, 20, of Dover, NJ for displaying a fraudulently made temporary vehicle registration plate. PO Najera observed a vehicle with suspicious looking registration plate; he got behind it and based on his training felt it was fraudulent and conducted a traffic stop and confirmed his suspicions. Mr. Ventura Ramos was placed under arrest and the vehicle towed from the roadway. He was charged with fraudulent registration, issued multiple traffic summonses and released with a court date.
On September 24, 2025, PO Carlos Najera charged Crystle Daniel, 39, of Whippany, NJ with failing to obtain licenses for her two dogs. Officers responded to the Red Carpet Inn on a report of someone screaming for help. Upon arrival it was determined that Miss Daniel’s two American Pit Bull Terriers began fighting each other and when Miss Daniel tried to separate them she was bitten in both hands. Officers were eventually able to separate the dogs, both of which were injured. Miss Daniel was advised to take both dogs for Veterinary treatment, and she was transported to the hospital for treatment of her dog bites. Miss Daniel was served with complaints and released with a court date.
On September 24, 2025, Sgt. Megan Prager arrested Herber Vasquez-Jimenez, 38, of Morristown, NJ with driving while intoxicated. Patrols had been dispatched to a residence for an unwanted intoxicated male. As Sgt. Prager was arriving on scene, she observed the male driving away, caught up to the vehicle and stopped it on Horsehill Road. While speaking with Mr. Vasquez-Jimenez, she observed signs of impairment and had him perform field sobriety tests. He failed the tests and was placed under arrest. He was charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving, Use of Hand-Held cell phone, Unlicensed Driver and other traffic offenses. He was released to a responsible party with a court date.
On September 26, 2025, PO Jake Crane arrested Lorne Schechter, 47, of Mountain Lakes, NJ with shoplifting $240.86 worth of merchandise from Wegmans by leaving the store on September 22, without paying for the items. Loss Prevention reported the theft to the police and PO Crane investigated and was able to identify Mr. Schechter as the suspect. He turned himself in and was charged with shoplifting and released with a court date.
On September 25, 2025, Sgt. Eric Prach charged Jose Prudencio-Perez, 57, of Morristown, NJ with Operating a Taxi Without a License along with multiple applicable traffic violations. Following up on complaints of illegal livery services operating in the Township, Officers observed Mr. Prudencio-Perez pull up in front of McDonalds to pick someone up. Upon investigating it was confirmed that he was picking up the male as a fare to drive him to Dover for a fee. Mr. Prudencio-Perez was served with his complaints and released with a court date.
On September 25, 2025, PO Patrick Thompson charged Lucio Sanchez, 36, of Dover, NJ with Operating a Taxi Without a License along with multiple applicable traffic violations. Following up on complaints of illegal livery services operating in the Township, Officers observed Mr. Sanchez pull up in front of McDonalds to pick someone up. Upon investigating it was confirmed that he was picking up the male as a fare to drive him to Dover for a fee. Mr. Sanchez was served with his complaints and released with a court date.
On September 25, 2025, PO Patrick Thompson charged Yasset Caballon-Melendez, 34, of Dover, NJ with Operating a Taxi Without a License along with multiple applicable traffic violations. Following up on complaints of illegal livery services operating in the Township, Officers observed Mr. Caballon-Melendez pull up in front of McDonalds to pick someone up. Upon investigating it was confirmed that he was picking up the male as a fare to drive him to Dover for a fee. Mr. Caballon-Melendez was served with his complaints and released with a court date.
On September 25, 2025, PO Sean Coleman charged Janell Jones, 33, and Iwona Decowski, 43, both of Elmwood Park, NJ with shoplifting $1159.81 worth of merchandise from Wegmans by leaving the store without paying for the items. Officers responded to Wegmans after Loss Prevention observed the theft in progress. Det. Magley and PO Miele arrived and arrested the women as they were loading the stolen merchandise into their vehicle. They were transported to police headquarters where PO Coleman issued both criminal complaints and they were released with a court date.
On September 25, 2025, PO Brian Morrisroe charged Virginia Burmeister, 39, of Boonton, NJ and Jonathan Ell, 55, of Burlington, NJ with shoplifting and conspiracy to commit shoplifting. Det. Magley was at Wegmans following up on a shoplifting that occurred minutes earlier when Loss Prevention observed another shoplift in progress which was witnessed by the Detective. Det. Magley radioed other officers and PO Morrisroe arrived and arrested both parties as they were loading the stolen items into their vehicle. The parties had walked out of the store without paying for $1348.91 worth of merchandise. Mr. Ell was additionally charged with tampering with a food product after being observed drinking from a container and placing it back on the shelf. They were both served with their complaints and released with a court date.
On September 27, 2025, PO Thomas Adamiak arrested Omar Grady, 34, of Paterson, NJ for two outstanding criminal warrants issued by the Paterson Municipal Court. Officers responded to the Red Carpet Inn on a welfare check on two unattended young children in the hallway. An investigation located the parents asleep in one of the rooms. Mr. Grady was the father of the two children and was found to have two outstanding warrants. He was transported to Police Headquarters and later released as per Paterson Police with a new court date. DCPP was notified due to concern about the unattended children.
On September 28, 2025, PO Thomas Adamiak arrested Jean Eliassaint, 55, of Maplewood, NJ with driving while intoxicated. PO Adamiak was alerted to a vehicle stopped on North Jefferson Road in the lane of travel and located Mr. Eliassaint passed out behind the wheel. PO Adamiak observed signs of intoxication, once able to awaken the male driver, and field sobriety tests were conducted. Mr. Eliassaint was subsequently charged with driving while intoxicated, open container of an alcoholic beverage in the vehicle and multiple other traffic offenses. He was released with a court date to a responsible person.
On September 28, 2025, PO Jake Crane arrested Brielle Jones, 39, of Paterson, NJ for shoplifting $510.17 worth of merchandise from the Wegmans. Loss Prevention observed the theft and alerted police who apprehended Miss Jones and a juvenile as she was driving in the parking lot. Both parties provided false names to the officers, and their true identities were determined. Miss Jones was found to have an active criminal warrant out of Clifton Court. Miss Jones was additionally charged with Hindering apprehension, obstruction, conspiracy, employing a juvenile in the commission of a crime and issued multiple traffic summonses. The juvenile was charged with obstruction and conspiracy and released to a family member. Miss Jones was lodged in the Morris County Jail pending a detention hearing.
On September 29, 2025, PO Brian Morrisroe charged Tricia Lawrence, 49, of Whippany, NJ for failing to license her dog. PO Morrisroe responded to the Red Carpet Inn for a disturbance and found that a dog belonging to Miss Lawrence had bitten a nine-year-old juvenile. The child sustained a scratch from the incident, and it was found that the dog was unlicensed. Miss Lawrence was served with her complaint and released with a court date.
On September 30, 2025, PO Morrisroe arrested Victor Fatula, 40, of Livingston, NJ with Criminal Trespass and Defiant Trespassing. Patrols responded to a home on Rt 10 after the owner, who was not home, observed an unknown male enter the back door on their home security system. Patrols observed Mr. Fatula walking out of the back door and he was arrested. The homeowner arrived and confirmed that they did not know Mr. Fatula. Mr. Fatula stated that he thought the home was vacant and needed to use a bathroom. He was transported to police headquarters, charged and released with a court date.
On September 30, 2025, PO Timothy Dalgauer arrested Edward Schloth, 40, of Doylestown, PA with Driving While Intoxicated. Patrols responded to Wegmans on a report of an intoxicated male in a vehicle in the parking lot. A Wegmans employee stated that the male was trying to leave the parking lot but was unable to put the vehicle in drive. PO Dalgauer observed signs of impairment and field sobriety tests were conducted, but Mr. Schloth could not complete the tests. He was placed under arrest, refused to provide breath samples for testing and ultimately was transported to the hospital due to his high state of intoxication. Mr. Schloth was issued summonses for Driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test and multiple other violations. He was served his summonses and left in the care of the hospital.
