5800 dollars is the magic number.
If we can reach that number we will receive our next grant award in the amount of 20k
Then we will have reached our 100k goal and that is what we need!
To make this roof on the historic Bank of Whitakers a reality!

We will be able to open the doors, use the space for a farmers market, community gatherings to discuss the future and do some cleanup as well!

Being a part of this community project and changing the narrative of this beautiful building - is going to be so amazing. Please help us if you can.

Just can’t get over the dedication of the members of WRAP. We worked so hard yesterday to make this event another great one in the books.
Everything we’ve done and continue to do is for the Town of Whitakers and her citizens.
Thank you WRAP members who devoted a whole day for this event yesterday and have been selling tickets since early April! It is another great event for us!

If you’d like to join up with us - all for the benefit of Whitakers - reach out - we have things to do and your input is needed!

Wow - we did it again!
Another successful fundraiser for WRAP today! All proceeds will go towards the new roof on the Historic Bank of Whitakers building! Thanks to all that continue to support our efforts!

We have a few plates left if you are interested in something for supper tonight or lunch tomorrow!
$12.00 per plate -really good!

Happy Friday everyone!
WRAP has worked so hard since our inception to do good things for the Town of Whitakers and we have!
As you all know our biggest project of all times is the new roof on the historic Bank of Whitakers in our downtown! Well we are on our way to having funds to do just that!
We received a $20k check in the mail today from Marion Stedman Covington Foundation to support this effort! We are beyond excited!
We have verbal commitments for another 10k through donations, we hope at least 3k on our upcoming fundraiser on 5-30-2026, plus another 20k from a local foundation in rocky mount plus 40k from our own fundraising efforts. All this will total 93k! Our roof will cost 92k plus incidental hidden issues we estimated at 8k for a total of 100k.
As you can see we would be about 7k short of our 100k goal!
Won’t you please help us Raise
The Roof and Lift the People as this will be huge for the town and the community.
No donation is too small - we appreciate all donations!
We’ve come this far - we know it’s gonna happen - we just need your help!
