White Bear Lake Fire Explorers The Explorer Post exists to educate our future Fire Fighting Professionals. Our core values are Tea

The Fire Department Explorer Program is sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America. The program is designed to provide young men and women with the opportunity to explore a career as a firefighter. Students from ages 14 - 21 meet and train in firefighting, search and rescue, CPR and First Aid. Explorers participate in live fire training and assist the Department at real emergencies. The explorer post

also participates in the annual Fire Explorer competition held at the State Fair grounds on the first Friday of the Fair during the Governors Fire Prevention Day.
