The Level Up Academy curriculum reflects the needs of all learners and is tracked for each student through personalized learning plans. Curriculum mapping is done by the teachers within the Teacher Professional Practice to ensure alignment with state standards. The teachers collectively choose behavior and classroom management systems designed to create an engaging school community based on commun
ity building and positive relationships. Restorative Practices, Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS), and the school's motto of is implemented school-wide. While parts of the curriculum consist of online leveled games and the use of digital platform instructional and assessment tools, the teacher and student explore multiple approaches to achieve learning goals. Through mentor meetings, community building circles, and a focus on growth mindset, problem-solving, and design-thinking we maintain a positive learning environment where students thrive!
