When it comes to your home’s irrigation system, a little maintenance goes a long way! Examine points where the sprinkler heads connect to pipes/hoses. If water pools in your landscape or you have large soggy areas, you could have a leak in your system. A leak about as small as the tip of a ballpoint pen can waste about 6,300 gallons of water per month.💧

This week is going to be 🥶. If you haven't done so yet, please take a few minutes to:
1️⃣ Disconnect outdoor faucets/hoses
2️⃣ Seal vents or cracks
3️⃣ Insulate exposed pipes
4️⃣ Know where your master shut off valve is (just in case)
Another great tip - keep your garage doors shut when the temps get really low. It will help insulate your pipes. It'll also keep your home warmer. For more info visit whud.org/communityeducation/frozen-pipe-prevention/
