🚧 Road Closures 🚧

Jacks Run Rd is closed from McKee Rd to Route 30. Also, McClintock Road is closed from Jacks Run Rd to Muse Lane.
Crews are actively working on clearing the roadways of debris and restoring the power.

On August 23rd, 2026, White Oak Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Auberle Street for a theft from a vehicle report. A fi***rm and cash were stolen from a vehicle. White Oak Police Department conducted an investigation which led to the arrests of Triston Easter, 24, of McKeesport and Daniel Rizza, 26, of McKeesport.

Easter was charged with receiving stolen property, persons not to possess, use , manufacture, control, sell or transfer fi***rms, carrying fi***rm without a license, theft from a motor vehicle, and loitering and prowling at nighttime. Rizza was charged with criminal conspiracy.

Easter and Rizza were transported to the Allegheny County Jail.

On October 12, 2025, the White Oak Police Department responded to the intersection of Lincoln Way at Route 48 for shots fired. The Allegheny County Police Department Homicide unit was requested to investigate the homicide of Kenneth Hayman. Three arrests were made.
On August 3, 2026, the following three individuals entered guilty pleas in the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas:
Jacob Baker pled guilty to one count of 3rd degree Murder and one count of Aggravated Assault. He received a sentence of 15-30 years in prison for the 3rd degree Murder and no further penalty for Aggravated Assault.
Albert Renchko pled guilty to one count of Aggravated Assault and was sentenced to time served of 281 days and 4 years of probation.
Victor Cruz pled guilty to one count of Aggravated Assault and was sentenced to 5 years of probation.
We appreciate the investigative efforts of the Allegheny County Police Homicide Unit.

White Oak Borough Community Day was August 1, 2026 at Heritage HIll Park. Our Officers manned the White Oak Police Department tent and throughly enjoyed interacting with all of the community residents.

On Friday, July 31, 2026, Officer Stanoszek and Officer Werderber attended a Helping with Hero’s event at White Oak Park to share what they do on a daily basis and teach the kids how they can also be a good community helper. White Oak & McKeesport churches teamed up to have kids learn valuable life lessons and they loved seeing the police car!!

We had a great time connecting with the community at White Oak Park on July 23rd, 2026! White Oak Police Community Relations Officer Cody Stanoszek, along with Officers Nate Werderber, Bryce Rafferty, and Michael Shabe, joined the Allegheny County Police Department, Rainbow Volunteer Fire Company, Pitcairn Police Department, and Allegheny County Parks for a fun Touch-a-Truck Event and movie night featuring The Bad Guys II.

On July 18, 2026, at 11:52pm White Oak Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Summit Street for a report of an emaciated dog. The complainant stated that she found the dog in a ditch on the side of a road and did not know what to do with it. Responding officers observed the dog in dire condition and immediately requested animal control to the scene. The dog was transported by animal control to an emergency veterinary facility. The dog was deemed to be beyond reasonable treatment and was euthanized.

The initial responding White Oak Police Officers and a White Oak Police Detective were assigned to investigate the incident. After consulting with the Allegheny County District Attorney's Office, and Humane Society Police, a search warrant was executed by White Oak Police in the 1600 block of Summit Street in White Oak, PA this morning.

As a result of the investigation, Sandra Alvarado, 40, of White Oak, PA was arrested by White Oak Police and charged with Aggravated Cruelty to Animal (5 counts), Neglect of Animals (3 counts), Cruelty to Animals (1 count) False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities (1 count) Endangering the Welfare of Children (1 count).

Alvarado was arraigned at District Justice Miller's Office and her bond was set at $10,000.

At tonight’s council meeting, Officer Martell Fontaine received a Certificate of Commendation from Chief Binder for his actions involving life saving measures on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at White Oak’s Heritage Hill Pool. Officer Fontaine was assisting White Oak Lifeguards, EMS, Fire, & several civilians whom were also recognized by White Oak Council this evening.
