We went today to Delaney Hall ICE Detention Center in New Jersey to show our solidarity to those incarcerated and to their families. There have been people on hunger strike since last Friday and the community is out in front in support around the clock:

While the recently negotiated budget package made important progress and advanced some critical protections, the core problem of collusion between local/state law enforcement and ICE/CBP remains unsolved. Families should not fear that a traffic stop, routine interaction or call for help could lead to detention, deportation, or family separation.
Join us to raise your voice with New Yorkers all across the state to demand that our leaders finish the job by enacting clear protections that fully prohibit collusion in all its forms.

This year we honor the outstanding work of the Lower Hudson Valley Democratic Socialists of America and the Indivisible Chapter NYCD15/16! Zephyr Teachout, our guest speaker, will join us to help us celebrate our honorees!

Learn from the NCYLU Policy TOOLKIT how to ensure our schools are safe places to learn for all students, every day.

Since January 20, 2025, our schools are no longer considered sensitive locations regarding ICE operations (neither are hospitals nor places of worship).

All of our schools are impacted, and any one of us can attend the training to learn how to help keep our schools safe places to learn.

School staff, concerned parents and neighbors, clergy, and hospital workers — everyone is invited. We will focus on addressing school board policies. Please sign up and bring a friend.

Together, we will make our schools safe places to learn.
