Tough end to the season. A 12-4 loss to Rutland ends our season. To our graduating players, Hunter Perkins and Jake Colby, we wish you both all the best. To the rest of the guys eligible to come back. You got a taste of the tournament, work hard this offseason and next spring and get back there for 5 days!!! Thank you to all that supported us throughout the season. Thank you to our Post Members that continue to come out and cheer on these young men. Thank you to our parents. Coach Dylan, thank you for your help and endless nights/mornings talking strategy. Thank you to STA for transporting our Team safely all summer. See you all soon around the ball field.

Great game by The Boys today. Although we came up short, these guys impressed everyone on how well they represented themselves, the Post and our community. The Boys grabbed the lead early, fell behind and tied it at 6 in the top of the 7th. Back in forth Opportunities for both Teams in extra innings, but it was Colchester that was able to push a run across in the bottom of the 9th to win 7-6. Robert Slocum, tip of the cap to you my friend, 7 1/3 of relief pitching. Day 2 tomorrow, 1030am vs. Rutland Post 31.

2019 All Southern Legion Teams Announced
1st Team selection was Kyle Hamilton - utility
2nd Team selection was Hunter Perkins - utility and Alex Bushway - pitcher.
Teams were selected by Vermont Southern Legion Coaches.

For the fourth consecutive year, Post 84 has qualified for the Vermont State Legion Tournament! With a 13-0 win tonight, the Boys earned the right to travel to Colchester, VT this weekend the site of this year's Tournament. We will play Saturday 11:30am vs the #1 seed in the North, the Colchester Canons. Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, parents and post members.

Final regular season game is tonight, 530p at Randolph Post 9. It's "WIN AND YOUR IN" for The Boys. With a win tonight, Post 84 captures the four seed of the South Division to qualify for the 2019 Vermont Legion State Tournament.
Let's get it done!

Tonight's 5pm game vs Randolph has been canceled due to poor field conditions. We will however try to play our 7pm game tonight on time.

A DH split with Bennington Post 13 leaves Post 84 with the season series Head to Head advantage. At 10-12 Post 84 is still alive for a tournament bid and finishes their season Tuesday night 5pm at Maxfield vs. Randolph Post 9.
Win, lose or draw it's been an exciting season. Come watch the final two regular season games and help support, cheer and hopefully celebrate a tournament spot with The Boys.

Doubleheader vs. Bennington Post 13 tomorrow 10am and 1pm. 4th and final seed for the 2019 Vermont State Legion Tournament on the line. It's going to be Hot, Humid, and Playoff atmosphere tomorrow at the Max.

Jake Colby powers past Bellows Falls Post 37 to lead the Boys to a 7-2 victory. Jake earns his first Win with Post 84. Brady Clark, Alex Emerson and Robert Slocum all had RBI singles. Kyle Hamilton had a 2 RBI double to open the game up in the 4th.
Next up, tonight we finish our suspended game with Lakes Region at 530 and start a new game shortly after. Come check out the Boys as they continue their playoff push for the final seed in the South Division.
