Hello!
We are starting two new exciting research projects at the TCU Families, Autism, and Child Emotion Studies (FACES) Lab at Texas Christian University!
Employment Decisions: We are recruiting mothers of children with autism who have either decided to leave or remain in the workforce after their child’s diagnosis. In order to participate, participants must be married mothers of a child diagnosed with autism. Their child must be between the ages of 10-17 years old.
Personality and Parenting: We are recruiting mothers of children with autism to answer some questionnaires about personality and parenting. In order to participate, participants must be mothers of a child diagnosed with autism. Their child must be between the ages of 4-17 years old.
As I’m sure you understand, the success of our research depends, in part, on our ability to recruit a large number of families who are willing to share their time with us. We would greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word about this study to families who may be interested!
Attached is the electronic copy of the informational flyer for you to review and distribute to families. As a matter of procedure, the flyer has been approved by the Institutional Review Board at Texas Christian University.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions you have!
Thank you so much for your time and help!

Join us for an informational session about Green Oaks Life Prep.
At Green Oaks, we believe that a college-like environment where individuals are intensively trained and prepared for productive, independent lives is the missing piece in the spectrum of opportunities.
Our solution is Green Oaks Life Prep, a three-year program where students will develop personalized independence, receive specific vocational training leading to employment, grow in faith, and become contributing members of an inclusive society.
Come learn more about Green Oaks Life Prep, which is currently slated to open in August of 2020.
