The Whitefield Public Library has been invited to attend the IMLS Library Convening 250: Telling America's Story, hosted by the Institute of Museum and Library Services with all expenses paid, in Washington, DC on June 10-12, 2026.
This national convening brings together librarians from small and rural libraries to share ideas, resources, and programs that help tell both the national and local American story as we approach America's 250th anniversary. Courtney will be attending on our behalf.
We're excited for the opportunity to connect with libraries across the country and bring back new ideas to serve our community! Stay tuned for more information on this and our NEA Big Reads 2026 grant to help us celebrate.

Life can be busy, stressful, overstimulating, and overwhelming. It is important to deliberately take time to bring calm and joy into our lives. Teresa will introduce the essentials of self-care and making a self-care plan. This is the first of a new monthly series - all about self-care and attending to our mental well-being.
