Caleb Caregivers Non-profit: Volunteers enhance independent living for seniors Volunteers transport, phone call, do light chores, and visit local seniors.

The goal is to keep the clients in their own homes as long as they are able. Currently there are about 70 volunteers helping over 275 seniors. All funding comes from private donations, town appropriations, and the annual appeal.

WE HAVE AN IMMEDIATE NEED for a volunteer who would be willing to help someone vacuuming everyday for the next two weeks. This resident of Ice Pond Village in Lancaster has fleas in her apartment and the management there has reportedly told her that it is her responsibility to get rid of them. She is very elderly and cannot physically vacuum the 45 minutes each day management says she should vacuum.
