Just because they don't see your value, doesn't mean it ceases to exist. Just because you don't see your value, doesn't mean it ceases to exist. You matter. .
If someone doesn’t see your value, it doesn’t disappear. Even if that “someone” happens to be you.
Your value is inherent. It’s something you have just because you are here and you are you. Even when you don’t feel like you matter, even when someone else treats you as if you don’t matter, you do.
Just being here, being you, makes you valuable and worthy of love, kindness, respect, and compassion.
Sometimes it can be hard to remember this when someone treats you badly (or you treat yourself badly), but it’s true.
No matter what, you matter.
