In 2012, Ian Buchanan and Jacob Carlson decided to do what they knew best...chores. This time for some college money, however. By providing yard care services to local community members, the two knew they had found an untapped niche. Graduating high school in 2013, the "Bay Yard Care" had a client base of just 12 generous and kind individuals and families. After deciding to add another member to t
he team, Michael Loyda, the business began to expand rapidly. In the next two summers, Bay Yard Care's outreach spanned as far south as Racine, as far north as Mequon, and everywhere in between. By year's end 2015, the small company of three had amassed 55 clients, most of which were recurring and/or products of referrals from established and pleased customers. After a brief hiatus in the summer of 2016 due to internships in Madison, WI, Ian, Jacob, and Michael have decided and are excited to re-launch Bay Yard Care, each now equipped with a Bachelor's in Business Administration degree from renowned institutions.
