Last evening, WFBHS Theater broke with tradition to announce the upcoming season in the middle of summer!

The evening was wild and wonderful - we had well over 100 students and parents attend to learn about the 2026-2027 Theater Season.

✨Thank you to Theater Friends (especially president Brenda S) for making the experience festive and exciting.
✨Thank you to Jim S for capturing it so beautifully with your photography.
✨Thank you to the Creative Team for working so hard this summer to make this season of new opportunities happen.
✨Thank you to the WFB staff and administration for their support in dreaming big dreams this season and always.

We couldn’t be more excited for our season, the amazing student and parent turnout, the sheer energy and enthusiasm of our program participants, and the opportunity to share these stories with our community!!!

As we celebrate the Jerry Awards and the end of another successful season for WFBHS Theater, we need to take a moment to thank one of our greatest supports, our parent group (Theater Friends) led by parent Brenda Schoen.

Throughout the entire season, Theater Friends go above and beyond to make each theater experience special, whether providing treats for the Season Announcements and Thespian Inductions year after year, running in-person ticket sales for each production, running flowers, drama grams, merchandise sales, concessions and photo ops for each production, etc.! etc.! etc.! Clearly, they always do anything and everything they can to support our program.

They are especially extraordinary for the Jerry Awards. Please marvel with us at the ways they make each person feel celebrated and taken care of throughout the the Jerry Awards experience. They:
* pay for yard signs for every participate to celebrate this honor
* pay for our buses to and from both the Jerry Awards rehearsal and the Jerry Awards
* provide dinner for both the Jerry Awards rehearsals and the Jerry Awards
* decorate the space outside the music wing to make our send off extra festive, exciting, and special
* provide each Jerry Award attendee with a goody bag with treats and special mementos so we can never forget this incredible experience

Do we have the best parent group in the entire state of Wisconsin? HECK YES WE DO!!! Thank you to our Theater Friends for everything they day year in and year out to make our program extraordinary.

Thank you to Karra & everyone at the Overture Centre for giving students from across Wisconsin such a magical evening 💜🎭 💜

Thank you to Theater Friends for making today’s school arrival and drive to and from Madison so delicious, special and enjoyable 💜🎭💜

Thank you to our devoted artistic team for all your work in creating the Jerry Award number and making that vision a reality 💜🎭💜

Thank you to our AMAZING students for bringing all your enthusiasm, skill, & passion that stage— you rocked it! 💜🎭💜

Finally, thank you to our beloved seniors--we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all that you have given us, both today and throughout your high school experience 💜🎭💜

Now, it's time for exam week, graduation, and summer vacation — we can’t wait to see you next season!

This evening, the cast of 42nd Street had the privilege of tech rehearsing our Outstanding Musical song, "42nd Street" for the Jerry Awards at the Overture Center in Madison!

Thank you to Karra and the rest of the Jerry Awards team for working so tirelessly to make this magical night happen for so many students across the state of Wisconsin!

Also, thank you to the adult leaders for guiding our students and to Theater Friends for the delicious meal and treats!
