There will be a scheduled road closure in the Northbound lane on the 6100 block of N Santa Monica Blvd on Friday, September 4th, 2026, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Only local traffic will be permitted in the Northbound lane of the 6100 block of N Santa Monica Blvd during that time. For Northbound traffic, please plan to detour around this area through the use of E Monrovia Ave, the 6100 block of N Shoreland Ave, and E Devon St.

Just over a week away from the Bike Rodeo! If your kids are going to ride their bikes to school, think about stopping by our Bike Safety Rodeo on 9/12 at the Lydell Community Center! The event runs from 11am-1pm. We will have bike safety information and bike safety activity stations for kids. Learn traffic laws, bike signals and practice safe bike riding.

Leaves are rich in nutrients including phosphorus, nitrogen, and potassium. When leaves are left on top of storm drains, these nutrients leach out into stormwater runoff, creating ‘phosphorus tea’. Storm drains then transport the nutrient heavy water directly into our rivers and lakes, often causing unwanted algae blooms that harm aquatic ecosystems and interfere with outdoor recreational activities. Stop brewing phosphorus tea by keeping storm drains clear of leaves this fall. 📢You can help shape the future of the Klode Park Warming Shelter!

The Village of Whitefish Bay is planning to replace the Klode Park Warming Shelter in 2027. Working with its architectural consultant, the Village has developed two preliminary design options.

These options are intended to generate discussion and gather community feedback. They are not final designs. The Village Board and design team will use the feedback received through this survey to develop a final design.
