West Central Wisconsin Behavioral Health Clinic is a safe space for people suffering from a multitude of mental illness to be assessed by one of our four professionals. Our areas of assessment for adults include: depression, anxiety disorder, substance abuse, dementia, schizophrenia, marital issues and parenting problems. Job description:
The Trempealeau County Health Care Center has an opening for a limited term RN or LPN at our Pigeon Falls Nursing Home.
$28.23 – $30.78 hr/ LPN
$37.97 - $41.00 hr/ RN
Responsibilities:
• Professional leader, leading by example.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing personnel.
• Collaborate with other units to ensure resident care is being followed.
• Discuss staff problems/concerns and refer to the Nursing Director as appropriate.
• Advise for treatments and medications in accordance with medical staff policies in the absence of a physician.
• Arrange emergency procedures and reallocate personnel during emergencies.
• Delegate’s preparation of reports covering critically ill and emergency situations
• Performs hands-on care and monitors for compliance with infection control and good quality standards.
• Replaces unit staff when needed for the shift or the following shift.
• Observes the emotional/physical stability of residents, notes their progress/lack of progress, and teaches/prepares them for discharge.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Directly supervises staff and carries out supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Client Rights.
• The ability to use first aid, oxygen, suction, and other equipment is required in nursing care.
